Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

attach to motion path

hello chaps,

i have a problem attaching a skelton to a motion path i've created.

the path is nothing special just a line with a few bends in and the skeleton is very basic too. the problem is when i try to attach it to the motion path (1) the skeleton flips to some strange angle (2). i've tried all the settings like inverse front etc in the attach dialog box but i can't get it to face front.

i can change the angle in the channel box and attribute editor but when i try to attach an ik spline (3) from the first spine joint to the end pf the tail and then attach that to the curve the whole rig attaches itself backwards to the path (4), top stuff if i was after a monty python animation but a bit pants here.

help me guys, you're my only hope...
