This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Animal help..

i really want to learn how to make animals but i dont know where to start, what part should i make first and stuff and how to do it i know most of the basic commands

Kurt's cartoon dog tutorial is a good place to start. That's what I did first.

or you can get kurts dragon tutorial, frog tut, or yeti which are really good

i cant seem to find any views of the animal form the right angles, ill start with either a fox, wolf, or a cheetah, but i cant get any of the views right

if your new then tutorials always help and point you in the right direction and help you so you can apply whaty ou have learned to other models ...fox and what not

no im looking for images of a one of the animals in a perpective view, a top veiv a side view like that, i just need to set up the layers so i can get started

i guess i could just do a greyhound i have a pic of one of thoseuser added image
