Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

issue with Maya Vector renderer!! Help!

Hi all,

I'm hoping someone here can give some suggestions to my issue!

...i have a sphere mapped with a material of the globe (black and white) using the reverse node so i can see through it. It renders fine in Software but the Vector just renders the sphere and seems to ignore the material?!

My goal is to essentially get a rotating globe in Flash so i can integrate it into a menu system.

i have done tests with a globe which is actual geometry which works fine however the i got a much nicer result using a map (smoother contours).

Any help would be awesome - cheers!
