Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Direct x exporter?

How can I export as a direct x from Maya 6.0?

You will need the DirectX SDK. Its free from MS Website...

I am not 100% sure which SDK you will need to download for Maya 6, but I would try the August 2006 version first then go back from there...
