subd's to poly probs

hi

i converted subds to polys but lost my full crease thats running along the top of the fender. i want to use soft?harden to get the crease back but i need a straight line or edge to select. if you notice the thumbnail theres just to much goin on in the mesh. i need to clean it up a bit. any ideas how to do it?

I'd use alot less geometry than that first befor even contemplating that, thats a real modellers nightmare you have in front of you there

remake it is the fastest way.. but u can try just deleteing the geomerty.
check out the sub-ds to polygons option box.

Yeah, you should redo that area, and if you don't die in frustration trying to fix it, your pc will.
