Ground texture help

Can some one tell me some technique for some realistic ground texturing .. or smth like that ... some shading groud or anything ..

I do planar mapping 2024X2024 ... and place my 3000x3000 texture and this is the result i dont know why da F**k happen ... it's 2 days of wondering and i can't figure it out .. :headbang:

P.S this is my second attempt to texture a scean ... user added image yeah i know im not good ... :blush:

Have you tried rendering the scene?

It looks like because its such a large texture Maya isn't showing you the full texture detail.

maybe repeat the texture couple o times and use it as a bump too.
