Thanks a lot NeoStrider. The project is coming along nicely. Though due to the deadline I don't have time to add all the model details I'd like to. So I am going to try and spruce it up even more for my demo reel. That along with all my other projects up here so faruser added image
But yes I agree, having walls and windows and environment helps things a lot!

@Mr Pix. - The colour renders were done in Mental Ray. All of the Grey/White renders so far were done in maxwell.
But the mental ray renders took a lot more planning, thought, and tweaking.
Thanks for the comments guys! More work is soon to come.

The full 720p HD images can be viewed here.
A lot of progress though slow at times as rendering takes a lot of time now. Overall just continuing with tweaks and finishing up the office and the kitchen. So those should follow in the next few days or so.

Comments and crits are welcome as always.
I may make a few changes to this scene yet, as far as adding towels and changing the door possibly.
Otherwise I am pretty darn happy with how it has turned out thus far.

I guess I better look at the renders and make another with that side of the objects viewable haha. The only object not visible in the renders is the flusher. But it is there!

Hey anasasis. I started with the physical sun as a base. But being that there is a roof, floor combined with the angle of sun there really wasn't much light provided for this room.
What it helped to do was soften the light overall.
All that was added was an area light where the window is and another up where the skylight is.
GI helped to even the lighting out overall and a LOT of tweaks to both area lights.

Probably over 20 hours spent on this lighting setup to get it as clean as it is. If you're more interested in the actual numbers and placement of the lights let me know and I can get all that down for you.
