good or bad news?

hum,hi bodies, (buddies)
i heard of a good news for changing ur geforce4 4200 to QUDRO4 700. and he said the rates improve difinitelly. i odnt know wether it is true. hahah...
somebody told me no rapid/visible changes by geting 4200 into QUDRo4 which is not like ge3--->QUDRO DCC.
is it true..

I found paintx and 3dtexture paint tool sped up quite nicely - aside from that nothing really noticable. worth doing anyway user added image

i guess 4200 is not qualified for maya anyway.
At my school we have 4200 at some pcs and paintfx
has problems, also sometimes letters "dissapear" from
the nodenames in Hypergraph. Maybe it's the driver

That is a general NVIDIA thing i think as I have a real Quadro 2 pro and that happens to me

as for the slow paint fx, that isn't because the card doesn't "qualify". It is because of some buffer in the card. Open this zip file and run the .reg file inside, it opens up that buffer and paint fx just fly around the screen
