how do you create buttons?

I'm wondering how do you create shortcut buttons that i see all the video instructors use?

ctrl+shift+LMB at some of the function in the menu.

p.s i think that was the combination user added image

MMB drag a shelfbutton to the little recyclebin at the right of the shelf

And Santa is an annoying f#t b@st@rd who eats my cookies and drinks my milk every year.
Which i don't mind by the way i just hope that next year he will clean up that reindeer dung himself LOL
