Strange Phone number

This sounds a bit odd, but when I got home today I saw that I had a missed phonecall...from America ( I live in the Netherlands, which makes it a bit odd).
I have called back but didn't get anyone at the other end, I first thought of a hoax of some sorts and entered the number but it didn't give me any apparent results or anything , I have narrowed it down to I believe washington if I interpreted the area code alright user added image

Does anyone here identify this number :
1 564 000 1256

I know it sounds stupid but I find it very annoying if I get phonecalls and don't know who it is and when I call back get nothing but a sound like if someone just hung up the phone grrr user added image

Well I'd love to dave, but I'm restricted to 140 characters remember user added image and describing the madness inside head would take a lot more than that user added image I blame it all on the soon to be new and awesome simplylightwave! zzzz...

Yesterday I got home and there was a message on the answering machine. It started with a couple of girls (I think) talking randomly together, lots of static, and then there was a guy that came in and started asking questions like what's your postal code, what's your full address (couldn't hear the responses) and after a while, it just ended. No idea what it was about.
And just to prove my lack of fruitcake-ness, Miss Nova, I didn't even bother to check the number.

Yeah I know I am nuts.... but i fail to see why a tele marketeer from america would contact someone in the netherlands.
And a wrong number seems very unlikely (but possible of course)

it's a phony number as no telephone ever starts with 000
not even euro, so as stated previously, gotta be a telemarketing thingie
as to them calling from US to Netherlands, all their numbers are random when calling,
they don't even know WHO they're calling most of the time

and area code 564 is for Washington state..........
