New Thundercats Cartoon

https://www.comingsoon.net/news/wonde...s.php?id=75953

I`m really unsure about this. It looks alot like the older one so don`t really see the point. On the plus side snarf will finally shut the *&^% up (Always hated bloody silly side characters like that and orko)

Even worse news - I hear the same company may be doing Jason and the wheel warriors.

Faux anime styled Thundercats? No thanks. I don't know whats up with that, why remake it when it was good as it was, play reruns and call it a day. If you're a kid of today and you don't "get" the appeal of Thundercats, then you missed it and thats O.K, for others it's nostalgia inducing and cool so don't mess with it.

The only thing it has going for it was how much I loved the remake of He-Man (2001 - 2003) - People who grow up with it working on the show removing all the cheese and making it a lot more realistic (well given the topics not the powers and shit). Shame they buried it on a sat afternoon slot in America an killed it. Over here in Europe it was one of the highest viewed kids shows after the Disney channel heavy weights.

Then saying that just look at how bad Transformers animated was - painful to watch.

I`ll give it a try and wait an see, but not expecting perfection.

You are kidding right tweety? this cant be real....surely?

I used to love He-Man...but Dolf scarred me for life. I thought they were still thinking of re-making it?? Thor is out now so who is next...shall we have a 'what super hero/villain' will be next betting ring???

I they did re-make He man...I would hope it has an adult feel to it..like The Dark Night..or even The 300 kinda feel...now that movie was f*****g ace man...I loved those action parts........brilliant stuff.

Cheers bullet

I am so glad I was wrong about this show - Just watched the first double ep and its kicks ass - looks abit amine but vast improvement of story and character arc`s (Tigra Lion-o`s brother only real issue right now) Hats off to Cartoon Network - lets hope they keep it going now. I hear new toys out next month - hoping they sell well so the show goes on.

Edit - Seen all 4 Eps so far now and the last one had a lovely "Studio Ghibli" vibe to it - would really recommended peeps watch this show.
