Create Cable (chain,Tail....) with Maya, Need ur help

I'm trying to create the cable or chain as per reference image (robot girl).
I tried many way to get all the chains to the same distance with animation snapshot, but as you see, I can not get the final result as image reference.

I created curve , the curve has been rebuild by 30
I created one chain and snaped to the curve. Animate/motion path/ snap to the motion path
the start/end 1.00 to 30.00 , Fast

well I dont know what I'm doing wrong. some of the chains they overlay eachother at the start point.

Please guide me where i'm doing mistakes.

if you know something say something PLZ

I think its the tangents doing that. Hop in the Graph editor with the original cable link selected, then select the animation curve and change the tangent. Spline, clamped or linear seem to work fine.
