This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Renderer Perspective (?)

I don't really know the correct terminology for most of what I'm saying, so please forgive me if I sound slightly retarded. Tried searching the web and this site, but again don't really know what I'm searching for lol.
Also, I apologize if this is the wrong section to post this in.

I am trying to create a poster of all the ships in Eve Online. I would like to do this by putting all the models into a Maya 2008 scene and rendering from one side. However, from my initial tests with just a few models it is rendering the models from the perspective of the camera in the center, meaning that the models on the top are rendering the bottom of the ship rather than the side. Is there a way to set the renderer to render directly form the Right perspective on everything?

Yes, just render from the side view...

Edit: Or better yet, create a camera, and then in the attribute editor, go down to orthographic views and check Orthographic.
