Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
I want to add some light to my car. i make a bulb shader but i found a problem with the out glow color. i want the glow to fill a smal area like in the red cercle and not filling my hole scene.
Glow color is just a post-process effect, and is not physically correct. To do it properly, you would need a light, and add in environment fog. (Or do it in post)
Thankyou for reply i think i will do it in post with after effect or nuke. i have optical flares plug with after effect but i don't know how to transport my data animation from maya to after effect so that the light added take the same movement.
You could adjust the shaderGlow node's halo spread attribute, if you want a tighter glow. But like suggested, but baking it into the render probably wouldn't be best.
