Rendering an Animation

I know this is one of the simplest thing to do. But for me i have never done this. How do i render my animation into a video? I tried looking through the internet and it leads me into batch rendering. Im on a Mac. The internet has been telling me to do image sequences through different softwares. If anyone could gie me a tutorial, that would be great!
Thanks!
