Problem rendering my fish with V-Ray 2.0 in Maya 2013

Ok, so here is a pic, od my fish. It renders horribly in Mental Ray, and It needs to be turned in like yesterday, so I need to just use the V-ray I have. It looks pretty good in V-Ray 2.0 in Maya 2013...but there is this super shininess, that I can't get rid of....I am not sure which settings in V-ray are responsible for the overly shiny look. Maybe someone here can help me. her is my fish picture. Any help on fixing this issue would be really appreciateduser added image

i am not a vray user but the shinyness is caused by either too much reflection or specularity

You should find the shininess is a result of the shader that is assigned to the fish. Try editing some of the shader settings to reduce the shine.
