Bullet holes

Hi,

I have a problem when trying to create about 100 bullet holes in a wall (NURBS plane). When trying to project curves on the wall, and then trim holes, I get an error message saying that there is to many/complex trim edges. That happens after about half of the holes.

Any other idea on how to create all the holes? I intend to put a spotlight with fog on the other side of the wall witch will produce fog effects from the holes.
