Scale problem

Hi, I'm new in Maya.
I have a polygon whit scale in 0,6; 0,65; 0,3 and I want to change the scale to 1, 1, 1 (X, Y, Z), but keep it in the same size, I mean, reset the scale to 1, or something like that. I think i saw how to do it but I don't remember it.
Can you help me?

Thanks

You will find this command under "Modify" = > Freeze Transformations.
This sets the scale back to 1/1/1 without changing the size.

Thanks! I had done it, but doesn't work cause my polygon had a son. I unparented the polygon and the freeze transformation work.
