3ds Max Interactive VR

Autodesk 3ds Max is one of the industry’s leading visualisation platforms, and capable of producing simply stunning photorealistic imagery and animations. With the rise in use of Virtual Reality units such as HTC Vive and Oculus Rift in recent years to bring our visualisations to life, there have been more and more users looking at ways of linking existing technologies and workflow knowledge with this new and exciting way to visualise a project.
There are more and more tools available which allow very quick VR visualisation from within a CAD application, such as Enscape and Revit Live, but whilst these are very good, they will never replace the ability to produce true photo realism inside of an application such as 3ds Max.
This changes today, with the introduction of 3ds Max Interactive. This plugin for 3ds Max give you access to a powerful VR engine, accessible from 3ds Max within a few simple clicks. Whilst we have been able to do this in some way, shape or form leveraging the likes of Autodesk Stingray for a while now, 3ds Max Interactive give more users an accessible way to run their 3ds Max projects in VR at the press of a button. Actually, if you have used Stingray, you will note the similarity between 3ds Max Interactive and Stingray.
You’ll need to be running 3ds Max 2018 with update 1, but once you are at the product version you can download 3ds Max Interactive and get started inside of VR today, available to all Autodesk 3ds Max, or Collection subscribers.
