First semi complete model I have done

I followed a tutorial. I think someone from this site did it. My computer crashed though and I lost my IE history so I don't know where it is anymore.

This took me around 4-7 hours, can't be that precise. It had some real tricky spots but I'm happy with it for now.

And like I said in the topic. This is the furthest I have got with any model to date so I'm happy with that.

This is interesting.

I usually like nurbs, but now I am starting to realize that poly can be quite fascinating as well, when smoothing a rough poly model.

I started on a human face, but made too many poly faces, so that a smooth would end up in a slightly bumpy surface.

So seeing this model makes me like polys even more.

I guess the secret is to create the polys at strategic sizes before smoothing.

If anyone knows the URL of the audi TT tutorial it'd be really handy. As I'd like to finish this.
