n00bs first low(ish) poly head.

This is my first attempt at a lowish poly head. and I want to say thanks to danny in the irc room for all the help he gave me last night. That guy has far too much patience.

Coming along nicely. Not sure but it seems you have a slight texture stretching going on the eye area. Might want to check the UVs on that area...

The texture was very basic and a bit of a rush. I simply UV mapped it, took a snapshot, then opened it in photoshop.

Once in photoshop I coloured the main areas solid colours. ie, the skin and the hair. Once these were positioned well I added a little depth by going over areas with a soft brush at very low opacity in either black or white.

The eyes are terrible. But that's a lesson learned. Hopefully next time they will come out better. Or maybe I will actually add eyes to the model.
