cheap vid card?

hey everyone!
looks like this is my first post. I'm an animator but I havne't done any serious work in about 8months because i'm travelling around in asia. So now I reside in Japan and I'm building a 'good enough' workstation.
I've been out of the loop for hardware for 2yrs now and my last card was a GVX1. I'm looking at buying a new card for maya usage (and video out).

thinking about getting a GeForce4. is that a good idea or not? any ideas or suggestions on what route I should go? budget is kinda low but I'd increase a little more if it's worth it.

thanks guys!
