MAYA EXPORTING (3ds ?)

Hey everybody! I'm trying to get into doing a few projects for games. Good ol mike showed me a great site www.polycount.com
and there are lots of projects requiring all sorts of different types of artists.

ANYWAY I need to be able to export to formats like .3ds and .dxf, or even .lwo

The only exporter i've found is the .obj

id like to make it clear that i need the .3ds EXPORT cause AW.com has the 3ds IMPORT and that has been confusing.

ANYONE KNOW??

you should be allowed to export DXF and IGES files.

make sure you have your plugins turned on for IGES support
