Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
Hi me againg:
I have a problem, i want to render to a file (jpg) and i cannot make the curves to look as curver the look like lines joined toghether.............i am getting mad cause i cannot find how to smooth them.
Thanks very much and sorry for bothering.
I really dont know LauriePriest, i have been playing with those values and coudnt find the result i wish, curves keep like lines at the render.
This is tottaly ignorance i apologice for that.
It is a nurb generated from the extrution of a circle throght a line path.
I rebuilded the curve and had the same results. All surfaces that were obtained from the extrude method give the same result. I am still in the same place.
I believe you can change the tesselation setting like Cali said. If you don't know how to do that, you can always add more isoparms. Right-click, select isoparms. Select two isoparms side by side. Choose Edit Nurbs>Insert Isoparms options box. Set it up so that you insert two isoparms inbetween your selection. Press close or ok. You can do this to all your isoparms to make it smoother. Does it work well?
