3d in 2d films

hey people

I was just wandering when studios make 2d movies do they merge 3d scenes into there films because latly when ive been watching 2d movies they look like they have some 3d in them.

Yeah, the majority of 3D film work is inserting CG elements into the 2D film (live action or animated).

This is done with tracking elements in the film, blue screen, etc.

Anyone whos seen Pirates of the carribbean will have drooled at the stunning 3D work in that film.

What about that new Sinbad film. Havent seen it but the 2d/3d graphics are good. I love that 3d ship.
