HOw do you get rid of blue placeholders around Sub-D's?

Hey guys,

I have been working on my pod-racer and I noticed when I used Sub-D's that it places navy blue place holders around the objects. I have tried to select them and use the "HIDE" option but to no avail. I can't even select them. Anyone have any idea on this one? I would really appreciate it!!

Thanks in Advance!!!

If you are in poly proxy mode, try converting the object to standard mode.

wich arises de question how do you achieve that look? because look at what i get from creating a cube then extuding 2 faces then convering to SubD(left) and then partial creasing (center) and full creasing (right)...
Did you added more geometry or further extruded the faces?(i cant see it but also cant achieve that look without it) tell me your secret for getting just soft edges without soft faces...

well it seems i cant double partial crease it... well i lied, i can, and triple etc... and it doesnt screams a red nor lila error, but it does nothing to the geometry, it stays like the figure on the center...

also the partial crease tool isnt configurable, nor did i found a field or slider to control the amount of creasing...

so babyduck, thats wrong.
What i can actually do is go down one level and then crease it as well wich si exactly the same as duplicating the polycount of the model in poly mode (smoothing at continuity0)and then convert...

If anyone knows how to adjust the amuont of creasing via sliders or in any other way i might have overlooked (without elevating polycount)i would appreciate that he posted it user added image
