hey man, 2 months, that's good isn't it. Anything in this line of work eh? Small steps small steps, how old are you Tim (I already know) you got a lot ahead of you mate.

too bad your not here, they need animators ect like crazy here, we haven't got hundreds of brilliant (and reliable) animators here.

not as much competition, but Jesus you earn your dues eh?! Hard bloody work.

Well this 2 months is unpaid, but im use to doing this without money now.

As for Aus, well my miss is a Nursery Nurse and I hear you could do with a couple of them as well. I also have an old school friend that moved out there a year or so ago.

Tempting huh user added image

Well I thought I would share with you where I am at with this project. Things will go a little bit slower because I am doing some more tests for the Teddy Hall Film, Still Moving but I will continue to drip in and out of this until it is finished.

Anyway, the engines are totally done (as you can see below) so I am now starting to work on the side details.

And finally, a view so you can see the start of the side detailing. Fairly simple but just adds a bit more depth and complexity to the model.

I think it works at least.

Anyway, larger version of these images can be found at my website.

Hope to have something for you as soon as possible.

Catch you later.

So all of your posts have been just screenshots of maya...have you rendered it? are you going to UV the whole thing, or just put it a matte color and make it look like a model? What are the plans for it? animation?

That's correct, no renders just screen shots. I will be doing an ambient occlusion.

Im not sure about UVing the whole thing. I'll sort that out when I get to it.

As for animation, well I might make a Tie and X-Wing and do some space battles.

do I need to mention that it looks awesome? Probably notuser added image
I think even more impressive than your model is the fact that you stayed with it (and will hopefuly stay) for such a long time.

Well done!
