That's one scary looking dude you've got there.

Big congratulations on the sponsorship, hope it helps to move the project forwards. Happy for you. Funny thing, just noticed there's still a link in the footer here to your old Outlaws site that could do with an update. Maybe something new will come along to replace it soon.

Thanks Nilla.

I will be putting up a new site in the next month or two as we get through the asset build and testing via Unreal so everyone can see what we are up to. Plus podcasts as well to listen to us ramble on.

will update some more very soon

Jay

Great Progress as always jay. I haven't touched my Maya for a few years. I think windows 10 might let me run my ancient version of Maya , but then again I should just upgrade.

Looking good Jay.

I'm not sure how far along the lookdev is, but the eyes seem to be missing any kind corneal refraction.

Dave thanks mate. I'm the texture artist and modeller at the moment. all done in Zbrush

lots to do still with it...the character is near completion, we are just working up the clothing and a few other things. The new UE4 has new shaders for everything so will be updating again soon.

cheers
J

Wow a dev update!!

So after spending the last two months writng our own mocap facial software, building our own camera to track, heres the first major output of a character.

Im currently working on a set of facial shapes to plug into the character to refine the performance along with tongue placement and teeth as well, as in this test they are a little too far back.
