Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Yeah that looks better. Good work working that out. Don't know what is ment buy sag. Speeking of things to work out.. you know when you fix one problem sometimes you can better see where there might be a nother.. LOL NO. not really a problem. Just a sujestion. I don't think it would hert anything for her head to be bigger. Becouse its in anime style. I thought there heads were bigger in perportions. maybe try it it, you might like how it looks even better.

I think when I adjusted her trunk she lost the roundness in her rear. I futzed with the Vertices and rounded it out a little more.

You know I think most anime styles go for a proportional look. I haven't seen many times when the head is noticably larger in proportion to the body except when going for comedic stylings. But I played with the head dimentions a little to see if I could get it in better proportion with the rest of the body.

Maybe it's intentional, but her legs look to be a little squarish. They don't look as round as they should be. They also seem a little long to me, that or her bum is too small.

I lengthened her neck some (hopefully not too much).

cptgame you were right about the rear I pulled it down a tad so that it wasn't so small. The square legs were not intentional. So I rounded them out some.

Let me know what you guys think! user added image
