This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
well i planned on making it hi-res for a hi res render and if it turns out the way i want it to (fingers crossed ) i will maybe even get a print done of it
Wow...that really is an AWESOME model and especially since you are so new to Maya! I really like the Eclipse model so far! The colors kind of look like it is supposed to be a race car! You should put it on some race track or something, that would look so awesome!!

Well I assume you did a poly smooth on the object right? And you still have the history right? if so then go back and turn the poly smooth divisions option to 0 and that will do it.
My sugestion is to allways use CPS (connect poly shape) cos you allways can go from smooth version to low poly, and cos you are working on low poly and watch it in smoothed version, i think there is tutorial here in free section about CPS!!! Whatch it cos its greate for polys!!
Best resolt would come, if every one in the group are doing what is best for himself and the group!!
ok i have a much worse problem than unsmoothing atm...i started up maya today to get the wheels done and when i go to load up the file...(or anyfile that is) maya just crashes and freezes....anyone have any idea whats causing this cuz i am so not doing that all over again
that was like 20 hrs+ work..i shouldnt have to do it all over again....no files related to the car will load..ever 1mb files which i saved along the way to creating the car..the render you guys saw ..the file size was 13mb which isnt that bad at all..i just dont know what the hell is going on.
