This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
yeah you know I think you are right about that but this is kind of a NOT REAL PLACE !!! just kind of imaginary future underground PLACE.
I will definately have to think very carefully about my title of my next piece.
Oh progress shot...brighter still
Lighting looking good, lots of real quick progress. As for the nuclear waste... well we're all familiar with the stupidity of current governments and organisations, y shud the future be any different?
But i like the progress. Im sticking to adding some objects, We see barrels in one corner... cant there be more barrels? And maybe the glowing stuff should flow into a krack and seep around a little.

o.k guys brighter still more detail..extra barrels (twisted dragon) more diffuse on the brick walls and more of a bump..walls a bit shiny though. Still getting that black triangle (bottom )
the problem witht he black triangle seems to always be in the spot with the manhole. I suggest inspecting those edges carefully, i think you have a rogue vertice.

Thanks twisted dragon I would of inspected but i have now killed the tunnel and replaced with what is going to be some serious industrial nuclear reactor thing! with lots of pipes and toxic bottles....heres a screeny
anything is possible, anywhere reachable, just be the best you can!
Im sure its great but I just cant tell what is in the pictures at all.. The screenies are just way too dark.. I have viewed them on 2 different systems to ensure it wasnt my setup..
yeah still got to sort the lighting ..i do however want to keep a dark cold industrial underground type lighting set up , but will increase the lighting.I imagined players running around inside using gun torches and mussle flashes to illuminate and reflect the scene. I personally feel a darker room looks way cool in a multiplayer map or straight 1 player when its illuminated by torches and stuff.
