Basically u can swap between fine and coarse levels (convert to sub-d's then rite click-> coarser/finer) letting u add in lines and detail only where its needed. Worth having a play even without any tut's. mite help u a little with this one![]()
Whatever u do, don't consider converting TO nurbs. only ever away. It makes such a mess. polys and sub-d is interchangable. swap back and forth at will. polys is great for using split poly, sub-d's for shaping. My useless laptop won't handle sub-d'sOriginally posted by jjoelson
