Lightning sword rocks. That was such a cool idea. Your piece is coming a long very nicely

Finally I got myself together and gave him a head... Tris are at 2148 and ears and hair to go...

Peltra yeah the sword is a bit high, but I don't really know where to lose the polys... Besides, I think I can keep it under a total of 3500...

EDIT: I just made the mouth smaller, will show when I add ears...

Looking pretty neat!

If you're going to make the eye-whites a part of the head, I recomend putting the iris/pupils on a small plane that you can animate in front. How are you planning on handling blinking?

Thanks for the comments user added image

I'm not sure how to do the eyes... Any suggestions?

Currently I'm at 2264 tris, so I think I'll look for some places to add detail before starting UV's... I think I'll try to make some collar bone definition and maybe give him a slight sixpack...
Unfortunately I have to go to my cousin's 18th birthday today, so it won't be until tomorrow... Damn relatives! user added image

EDIT: I also got the sword down to 276 tris...

yeah starting to look really nice, especially the hair shape user added image. But wouldn't you consider using fur instead of poly's?
