That dome bit could be optimized quite a bit.

I'll optimize the dome section if I add a higher map, or want to stay riddiculously low on poly counts (unless it loks the same, ill try it soon....)

I just noticed something really cool with my new video card... It can do per-pixel shading and not have perfomance slow down!!! here is a comparison to my screen view and my render!

I did some optimizing for practice, im now at 564 trie's for the outer shell, i believe you cant tell the difference, at-least thats my aim

edit: changing this pic to more updated, now has floor, alter and pillar for a grand total of (drumrole plz....) 582 tris

yes ive done lots of work today, taking my weekend off to my advantage!!, here is what i will try to make in uder 3500 tris.... this pic is 126846 tris.... ill do my best! texture maps used so far: 2 one is 640 x 480, other 256 x 256

The last 2 pic are very dark, I can hardly see anything user added image

Oh, one more thing. Make sure you change the resolution of the 640x480 texture to something that is a power of 2, as otherwise, it's not elligible.

hardware rendered for more of a game feel.... not done, and this looks bad, I didnt change the defaults on hardware render, going to make pilars be low poly soon, right now they are 137088 tris, i will attempt to make them.... 2 tris!!!!!!!! just kidding
