Right i've Finished the Model and here's a quick pic, i've also started on the scene which is going to be from sonic and knuckles, i've still got some work to do and i need to change the colour on the emerald (lol forgot thats its green)

does anyone have any hints on how to render it our so that the emerald actually looks like an emerald???? :headbang:

It would be awsome to see an enviorment for your model but it's not a requirment. user added image

another update, i'm toying with the final pose i will use, i like this one at the moment i have included a pic of the sprite that i using as a refrence,

what i also want to do is to add so electricity around him but i don't know anyway to achive this in either maya or photoshop if anyone can help i would really appricate it

I like your model ... but Sonic is lookin' a little depressed sitting there:hug:

I don't know much about lightening in Maya but I do know that you can do it fairly easily. Search the forum and I'm sure you'll find a thread that covers it. Otherwise you could always draw some in photoshop.
