Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

StyleXP takes no resources !

You may also look into StyleXP which costs the same as WindowsBlinds which is a memory hog (!!!)

StyleXP uses WinXP system to set distinct schemes:

https://www.tgtsoft.com

you may look at the many schemes here:

https://www.themexp.org

I will soon post a black interface using Windows classic

Black UI - no additional software used

You can make it darker but I like this tone

[ I also attached the BlackUI.theme file for your convenience ]

here's what my screen looks like. The only thing that bugs me is the light grey (almost unreadable) node names in the channel box... wish I knew how to change that... *nirsul hint hint* : )

There's also a Discreet reg fix that will put the same sort of scheme on your computer without having to run a special app. You just install it into your WINNT folder and then you can choose it by right-clicking on your desktop and choosing it as a scheme. Check over around Discreet for it. Just gives you greenish greys and dark dark greens, almost black user added image

Crawl into my caves to suck out my veins.....

great. I tested 3D Color Control and DisplaySet, of which I recommend the latter.

This has enabled me to get rid of the annoyingly bright 3D highlights and to achieve a cool 2D look : ))

like so:
