Thanks for the compliments,

I had a busy weekend so I was unable to work on this but I have made a little progress today.

Cheers,

Mat.

Great work on the texturing Matt, I'm looking at that kind of old worn look for my airship thats holding my island up.

the city looks great, but i'm not too sure how it fits in with the scene as I would have thought an old western type town, but i'm sure you have plans for it.

Great going so far.

All good words, thanks.

gster, at the moment the scene is a sort of Mad Max style end of the world, city outskirts, trailer park. The pump is supposed to represent the last supply of drinkable water, but it's dried out. All a bit grim really!!

I got the texture for the pump from HERE . It's pretty cool as you can change the level and amount of rust. hope it helps.

As I said, that's the scene at the moment, a lot could change before the end of August but in the mean time there's tons to do on this still.

Forwards and onwards or something like that!!

Cheers for your thoughts,

Mat.

maybe just me but maybe a drop of water coming out of pump or just a tad out of the bucket and going into the ground ..that is my 2 cents ..

looking very nice happymat user added image
you've put that rust shader to good effect

how about some ooze or slime hanging from the water pump or on the floor to signify that its a very poor quality if anyone wants to dare drinking it?

Happy to clear things up gster user added image

About the slime or water drip, I was saving that as the last thing I was going to do. Kind of a goal to aim for, when it's done the pic is finished, I have to work that way otherwise I'd never finish anything (I rarely finish enough as it is!!).

I should have a bit more done later.

Cheers,

Mat.

Yeah, I guess I'm lucky that I have a bunch of free time at the moment. It's a bit of a bummer being unemployed though!!

I made a little more progress....

Cheers,

Mat.
