The trouble with doing something right the first time, is nobody appreciates how difficult it was.

good Job

Hi Kurt,

First of all. WOW! :bow: :bow: :bow:
Good job. I also took a peak at that site of yours, not bad man.

As far as the creature goes, are the "hands" transparent? Wouldn't that give us more inside (like inside the creature, blood, muscles,...!) information than there already is? Maybe I'm seeing things wrong.

Another thing; do you make these things up as you go or do you use like in the tuts the planes with the drawings?

Just about to beging on the "head" in the mech tut, it rocks. I'm a complete noob and yet i'm happy with the result so far. I also ordered some books for immediate reseach and alternative tutorials, (blablabla ...); I just wanted to say I love your tuts and work.
I'm really looking forward to texturing the mech. And after that animating it. Do you plan on animating it for a tut or do you know somebody who can? I would love to see the complete model-texture-animate Mech trough tutorials. As I am just starting Maya I think that would be awesome.

greetz and errr : Keep the dream alive!

M.

Kurt, i thought you expressed yourself best with 2D but i take it back, because THIS is so damn beautiful, it is, i hope, a sign of the coming of ART in the 3D world

words can not describe, and while you were doing other stuff two; tell us mate;

what are the three most golden rules of preparation in this art form.

take it easy and life will be easy
