Nice arran...

Really as a cartoon or caricature of the aforementioned Dino, it really doesn't have to conform to the actual dinosaur. That's whats great about this stylisation. Total freedom to break the roolz.

In the words of the Finding Nemo xtras DVD.

Consultant: "...fish really don't have teeth..."
Andy Stanton: "...they can't talk either..."

ha ha - that's a good quote R@nSiD.

younglion - I actually hadn't thought of doing cell shading, but this would be great a project to try it out on. I am also looking forward to painting some texture maps for him as I haven't done much texturing or photoshop yet.

hey velociraptor1 - welcome to SM. Cheers for the link mate user added image yeah, walking with dinosaurs was awesome. It would be so cool to work on a project like that.

Started work on the ankylosaurus yesterday...

and I also remodelled the stegosaurus mouth again. For some reason he kind of reminds me of the count off of sesame street.

Well it looks like I am going to have to put this project and everything else on hold - my laptop packed up on me last night and now I can't even switch it on without it shutting down immediately. Luckily it is still under warranty so I should be able to get it fixed. However, because the problem happened without warning I wasn't able to back up any of my work :headbang: :headbang:

...so I am just hoping that when I get it back I haven't lost everything...

grrrrr.

That's a bummer... and usually computers fails without any warnings... that's why should to backups on a regular basis. I use a 300gb hd for backup about every second month.
