Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

right I`m done. had very little time for painting the texture due to heavy work load last week, stupied virues and moving office, but i`m quite happy with it.

quick little animation to show the moving parts. no rig just parent the parts togeather.

this has been a fun challenage just wish i had some more free time to work on textures, will work on it over christmas

i knew you could move it like that but can u really rotate it as well ? have to give it a go at work cheers.

no that did not work user added image
it allows you to move the point but not to rotate it. arrr
well at least its for a part you cant see

(my little serect hehehe)

updated the video now as my boss let me render the scene using are render farm (well its more like a backyard than a farm).

just basic maya softwear but it rendered during my break so hay.

Looks good mate, would be nice with some spec highlights of the metalic and screen areas, but hey you said that you were gonna finish it off at a later date

theres still alot more that can be done to this model.

would realy like to sort out some flames for the boosters as well.

time will tell
