Your Cellar totally beats mine, i gave up on it to do the Imperial City from Oblivion. Although the Lighting has given me an idea to re-do the cellar using a similar technique.

Thanks user added image

Thanks,
Update again...
I have started detailed the floor and roof and changed a few things around. I did an Occlusion render so you can see more detail.

I was trying to do some fog lights and stuff before but i couldn't really get that to work. And hardware rendering dosn't seem to work on my card (Nvidia 8600GTS ...) for dust so i'll probably photoshop that all in later.
Anyways... here is a small bit of progress.

Polygons mostly. I tried subdivision but i couldn't get used to them. Here is something else i am working on and it is all polygons. Once i have finished I'll either smooth it or make a normal map. I'll probably make a WIP for it after i finish the cellar.

I just smooth when i need to then un-smooth and delete history once i am done. And yes, that model is supposed to be a girl. I think Louis is talking about my avatar.
Updates on the Cellar later on.

Hmm i would have though hardware rendering would work on that card. Is there anything else your going to add to the cellar? Sucks that you have to do the dust etc in photoshop... Isnt there some other way that you could do it? (thinks hard)

@ Louis - you mean them Bondi girls? haha!

I used to live near Bondi, Havn't been to Queensland much, Torquay is alot... colder... but our girls are good... The model isn't finished yet so you can crit it all you want later when i make a WIP for it.
Back on track with the cellar though.

I recon i can have better control with the dust and stuff in photoshop anyway. I am gonna update my drivers and see if thats the problem. I am still not sure what i am gonna add to it yet. I was thinking about having someone sorta silhouetted at the top of the stairs looking into it. Maybe add a few more boxes and crap. Then UV and texturing it.
