here's the link I put up before https://www.xyzrgb.com/maps/skins/index.html
I bought some of the maps here and used them as the starting point for the displacement map. I also used gray scale images of cracked desert and elephant skin and put them all to gether in photoshop.
He dosen't exist in a real low poly mode because I modeled his bones and muscles first and than modeled the skin to fit around them. Here he is in wireframe.
It may just be me but it looks like that creature can't support itself. It has such a big body yet low ratio legs. It could just be where I'm used to thinking of dinosaurs being huge.
For some reason the "toes" aren't fitting for me. Maybe some claws or something would make it better.
I'm not a geek. I'm a nerd.

Yeah his paws in the back legs are smaller than a dinosaur but he has four of them instead of two. I also made his upper body and tail the same size in relation to his back leegs as a t-rex plus his tail acts as a huge counter weight and his arm muscles are large. He might also look different depending on the length of the lense.
So you modeled the bones then the muscles and then added the final layer, wow lots of work! Any chance you could post up a pic of the skeleton and the muscles?
