Oh boy you've really got me riled up now user added image!!!
many of these gamereviewers used to be enthousiastic gamers who bought games and for the heck of it tried to inform people on it, nowadays they've "grown" into bussineses who compete with each other.
I don't think they get a kick back from the games revenue, what I think is that they depend on advertising revenue, advertising revenue is based on the number of hits your site get's and with a gaming site the number of hits depend on how many new titles you (p)review..and I believe that this is were our dear friend the publisher comes in and says, yeah you could say my game is crap, but it might happen that you recieve the demo a bit later tan you are used to...or maybe we forget to do it ...
Another thing that makes gamereviewers obsolete imo is that they play the game for a to short amount of time, sure Skyrim is fun the first 10 hour and yes of course you don't expect from a hardcore game like diablo 3 that you get the good loot the first 5 hours of pointless dungeon roaming ...they never experience the full game and i have a suspicion that the devs no this and develop on it.

Don't laugh but after seeing all the disappointing games and movies come out, seeing franchises with a lot of potential blown to smithereens, but especially after ME3, I wanted to step right in a bank and ask what does it cost to make me a game/movie and not because I am this grand entrepeneur, but just to have something out there that isn't solely based on revenue shares and marketing morons ( I have a tech-sales job and I can say that most-not all- marketing people are full of hot air), but about making something great.
the only ray of light movie wise this year was TinTin and gamewise I am hoping Thief 4 won't disappoint....
Starting a gamescompany still hasn't left my mind, just don't now where to start user added image

If it's already on disc it isn't DLC right?
Sadly they think that if they charge additional money for stuff that you expect to be in the game itself that they make a profit and even more sadly people put up with it.

If you find this annoying why on earth did you buy ME3 then user added image..it has day 1 DLC which contains a main character

TBH I think 99% of games suck. I havent been scared or riveted to a game since RE..the original. Rainbow 6 was another outstanding game for its time. My son plays all of the latest as Im too busy working or making a game, I await Colonial Marines..but I fear it will be shite.

Cheers bullet

Dead space 1 and 2 were pretty scary. The are two games that I cant wait to play Last of us and Watch Dogs. Im surprised no one here likes the uncharted 2 and 3 games. Personally I think they are the two best games of the decade

I think you're right Bullit and normally I don't mind, but what I dont get is when people have a succesfull franchise and blow it to kingdom come, take starwars for instance, everybody loved kotor 1, didn't hate kotor 2 that much even when the ending was a bit shite, now everyone is awaiting part 3 and what do they do make it a MMO, with graphics from the 90's polycounts at 1000 for an entire level and think they are a WoW killer, whilest even a 10 year old can explain to you that Starwars is a niche and within that niche you have another niche that are gamers and within that niche you have a certain amount of people who like MMO's ( I for one hate them I play RPG's because of the story)WoW is a game with a wider appeal because it doesn't really have an identity so people can make it up for themselves.

You like shooters Bullet, they should make a mmo for that genre, but with more realistic settings, you buy a character, you pick a side, a division ( ie paratroopers, marines etc) and get basic training and your specialistic training if need be after that you get dropped in your respective warzone PvP and PvE is all mixed up there are no names or help menu's and limited ammo ( just like in real war) there should also be a realistic damage model so a bullit in the head means your dead..done..game over no respawning whtsoever, if you want to get back in teh game you need to buy a new character and start all over again.... that would be a game i'd love to see...I always get annoyed in shooters where I see people running like wildmen through a level

@ murambi

I downloaded uncharted 1 and I did like it, the only thing that really really and I mean really sucks and is a dealbreaker for me are the controls, I can't aim and look around with a controller I need a mouse for that, but since naughty dog plays puppy to sony it will never come on PC that's why I never play(ed) it .

The last game I played on PS3 was Dragon age origins which I finished, when I played it with a difefrent character ( which supposed to be a whole new experience according to bullyware user added image )it was just the same game again so I quit.

The controls took some getting used to but after a while you will be playing the game like its a natural hand movement. The story In these games are not original but the way the story is told is quite brilliant. I really liked the back and forth banter between the characters even when you did something so minute. It made me feel like I wouldnt get bored with the game. You should definitely try these games
