i'm still really confused about whats going on on it. but chironevincent at gmail.com is the one that got signed up to it...

it used my google account because it was signed in at the time when i clicked on your invitation. so it must have decided that was the adress i wanted to use.

it really is a poor mans facebook right now - got the app on my phone but its been used very little

I don't know, it seems more reliable than Facebook, there just isn't anyone on it at the moment.
