Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Are you serious, it's called "Marvel Avengers Assemble"?? That's really dumb. It's like the title of a DVD chapter. Or an instructional pamphlet. Or a news story.

Edit: Oh, I see for the UK it's the new name. I would make a joke about Americans not wanting to read something that long, but I won't.

Chirone:...The story... in fact i cant even recall half of it, such was its impact. The first one was excellent though.

Heres one for you: I actually walked out of Captain America...so bland!! The trailers were better.

Tweety: Quality!!! LMFAO!!!

"Avengers Assemble" (the marvel part is not part of the title) is now the worldwide title - due to piss poor movie (Ralph Fiennes and Uma Thurman)1998/tv show 1960/70`s (Ian Hendry and Patrick Macnee)with the same name claiming the title rights.

chirone I guess when its such a bullshit no good movie and pointless to watch maybe??? I agree...the whole comic book thing is just a yawn now...the thing has been beaten to death. As for Batman...bah...keep it....like you said jay..you cant polish a turd...and for me..well most movies fall into that category...hence why I no longer attend cinemas. The one that might tickle me is Prometheous...then again I hold my breath NOT....

Looks like Robert Downey Jr is going to get all the best lines again user added image

Love the one: "Take away the Iron Suit and what are you?", "err... billionaire, playboy philanthropist?"

haha I loved that line as well, I think if they just give Robert Downey Jr enough screen time this movie will be great!

i'm really looking forward to Prometheus as well since Ridley Scott is doing it again. Granted I love the whole series but Scott did the best at putting the suspense in them.

Im with you tweety...yes Mamoruk...it looks good on the trailers...and hopefully ol Scotty can reap something from it. Im over the Marvel thing...shit man c'mon..really....lets be serious...you can only get so much usable data (quality) from a damn comic...and as Hollywood does...one success turns into a whole machine churning this stuff out. CG can only do so much...even brain busting stuff will NOT carry a movie. Who wants to pay a hunge and a half to take said family in for a very expensive treat and walk out feeling very empty. Lets say something real here...WHEN...and I mean WHEN was the last time you saw a movie and ACTUALLY would go back and pay to see it again on the big screen....sadly for me...it was Star Wars in 1979.....and MAYBE I would throw Alien onto that circuit. Other than that...nothing in this Felix magic bag...any takers on this twist?

cheers Bullet

I think a movie is pointless if it has a low time investment : entertainment value ratio. I've seen some movies that were so terrible they were fun, "The Room" is the first thing that came to mind. I don't mind action movies as long as they're not a disjointed mess(Transformers 3 ugh! More bot fights less bullshit please, I mean really, no one is expecting a moving story). Personally, I'm caring less and less about movies because I keep seeing the same faces, and with celeb culture being everywhere, all these characters are kinda running together into one big boring clump.

Everyone bashes Twilight, lol yes they're pretty bad but I can see how they became popular, they're like soap operas for teen girls.
