This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

@Jay: Are you gonna gets credits in the film? I am so looking forward to saying to my friends "Hey! I know that guy!" in the theatre.

It always feels really awkward when I'm talking to people and I'm like "Yeah, I know this guy, well, I talk to him, online... well on a forum... like a maya forum, well we type things in the same threads. But I know of him."

Jay what can you do if they dont give the credit or worse still give it to some one else, some thing like that happened to me once asked my a manager to set up a auditing team I did every thing setting up macros to change base data to spread sheet also wrote up the work instructions only to go to a meating were a director said how great the manager was for setting up the auditing team (I did let the manager know what I thought of him)...........dave

Dave

I could probably complain to Windmill Lane VFX as it was them I worked for but I dont think it will happen. We were all asked before we left how we wanted our names on the credits...So I chose my full name instead of my usual cut down one. It will probably be Senior Modeller.....Jason Edwards......

We didnt have a lead modeller as it was just me at the top of the tree in the modelling dept supervising every model

Wow that is a pretty cool composition there. I didn't know it was from the same producers as Taken. I loved that movie. I am going to go see this for sure I'll point your name out to all my buddies during the credits.

Hey thanks guys really appreciate the support!!!

Yes its a Luc Besson produced film. He has a rather lovely associate producer too by the name of Leila Smith, shes a rather lovely looking french/African lady (I think)!!! Met her a couple of times on their fast and furious visits to Dublin.

You'll all be the first to see the models here....for sure!!!

cheers

Jay
