Nice little tutorial there priimate I think that will come in usefull in the future, I think I have come to the conclusion the quickest way is to just cut the angle of a cylinder with the cut face tool then delete faces above the cut then just snap the verts up to create the straight face then fill the hole...............dave

I prefer using the cutter and boolean method. More control and fewer steps. But I fully understand there are lots of ways to do the same thing in Maya and you have to use the workflow that you are most comfortable with.

Nice tip primate it would not have dawned on me to use the non-linear flare tool that way
