This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
Zb is a bit finicky I loose a lot of details sometimes as well with go Z. I've just gotten into the habit of making my base meshes really clean before I add any real detail, seems to be easier for Gz to handel. The other thing i've started doing is making duplicats so i can tweak one in Maya and bring it back into ZB and use the second one to re project any details I lost.
With this project ive been building pretty much just planes using the retopo tool in ZB and importing them into Maya for most of the extruding as i dont like the crease option in ZB atm as it really finicky for me and Maya right now can do that faster for me anyway.
Got most of the back blocked out today.

Still have to rotate her face left but looking better. Have to resculpt some folds and then can go to town detailing her up as much as I can. She will also have a gun at some point

Lot of little tweaks. I added a lot of the details i lost when posing today to the cloth-rubber parts. So really all that left is dig up the armour, add bolts wires, and then sculpt a gun.
