that's really starting to look great! The shader I made was more trial and error than planning and execution!!! user added image I just play with the nodes till I get what I want. You may want to put a bump map on there so that it doesnt look too flat.

The inside of the tower's shadows still arent right (dont get frustrated cause getting shadows right is really hard). It should be much darker with shafts of light coming thru the gaps in the roof (that will look really really cool!!) Are you using a directional light for your sunlight? I get the feeling there may be an ambient light in this scene... is there?

The grass is a paint effect brush and maybe too high

There used to be an ambient light but i removed it.
I know the inside should be darker...what do you suggest ? I put an area light with a negative value but apparently the value isn't high enough.

My main problem is the concrete block...i have to pierce a window and make it less regular.

There's basically too much light in the scene, you if you want to suck light out of a scene use a light source with black as it's colour. Rather than a negative intensity.

yeah that's right. I've never used it ( i try to solve these things by lessening the intensities of other lights/removing some etc) But give it a try and see what happens

Little update...i've been working on the concrete block...finally
i found that the 2 main lights in my scene struggled to much together ( both had the same intensity!). i also added flowers

yeah that's looking much better, turn up the antialising (render globals) though cause you're getting a lot of jaggies

The ground looks much better now as well user added image

Update

Hello,

major updates

Tweaked the ground (not so visible on that view)
Added two the two background tanks...
lowered the lights intensity
And a bit of DOF for funuser added image

looks great... i like the DOF...(:

the only thing thats bugging me is the tower ...something about it.....i dont know its just too perfect and straight!!!
add some oldness to it, i like its texture but maybe u can add something else to it....
but what the hell do i know.............im just a noobie
