Having recently played with the revolve tool myself, let me suggest...

* a bowl with round fruit such as apples, oranges, pears, or plums
* a plate with a donut or cupcake (or...an apple, orange, pear, or plum)
* a hurricane lamp
* round clock face

Excellent Glass texture but dosent work on planes

I've been breaking my head making realistic glass.

The settings you provided works amazingly well on a sphere, but I want to make window and need planes. or flat cube..

I've made these 3 objects in the sample image. I even tried to disable to refraction in the ray trace option of that blinn, but it still gives the same result.

As you see, the texture on planes & cube don't really look like glass.

Please help me out on this!.

Thanks

that image is confusing and WAY too large, do you think you could resize it and update the image with the smaller one?
